Welcome to the May 2012 issue of the Roadsmith Reader!
Trike Demand Breaking New Records!
The early warm weather, a recovering economy and some major changes in the industry have all come together to create perfect conditions for a major resurgence in the trike business and especially for Roadsmith! We have seen demand for our product increase dramatically over the last few years, but nothing can compare to the magnitude of what we’re seeing this spring. That’s good news for you as a dealer, because it means that our efforts in building the brand through rallies, advertising, public relations, etc., is starting to pay off in increased consumer awareness and demand for the product over that of our competitors. As we work to meet the challenge of this increased demand, we ask that you continue to support us through your efforts. Know that we are doing everything we can to increase production, while decreasing lead times, and will do everything possible to continue to meet your needs and the needs of your customers.
This month’s Roadsmith Reader includes some more information about our innovative new product, Comfort Controls™, a link to a very flattering trike review in next month’s RoadBike Magazine, our Trike of the Month and a few other odds and ends.
As we compile this month’s Roadsmith Reader, we are preparing to hit the road for a series of great summer rallies starting with Americade in Lake George, NY in June and then on to Wing Ding in Ft. Wayne, IN in July where we will officially be introducing Comfort Controls to the Gold Wing community. As always, we encourage you to attend at least one of the rallies this year so that you can see and hear, firsthand, the kind of enthusiasm we are seeing for the Roadsmith product. The future is looking bright and we are pleased to have you on board as a valued member of the Roadsmith Team!
Roadsmith Dealer Contracts and Insurance Just another reminder for those of you that might still be holding onto your dealer contract… We will require you to have a current, signed contract in place before we can take your next order so, if you haven’t yet signed and faxed the contract to the office, please do so!
